Job Title 1: Social Accountability Advisor

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education Advanced degree in health fields, Social Science with specialized training and/or experience related to Social Accountability.
More than 7 years of technical and programmatic experience on Social Accountability.
Proven experience on strategy protocols, manuals and training materials development.
Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Ethiopian Primary Health Care system including the Community Health Program in Agrarian and pastoralist contexts
Knowledge and experience of Ethiopian Social Accountability Program (ESAP)
Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and writing skills
Able to promote team work and effort.

Responsibilities
Work with the Ministry of Health and Regional Health Bureaus to strengthen social accountability technical and coordination platforms including technical working groups
Provide technical assistance to the health system at all levels on social accountability system and approaches
Work closely and collaborate with other implementing partners working on Social Accountability
Technical lead to explore and understand the implementation challenges of community score card (CSC) and optimize the existing CSC in a way it addresses the implementation challenges
Technical lead in the development, implementation, and monitoring of a bundle of social accountability tools and approaches
Provide technical guidance in the development of an integrated social accountability tools, implementation guide, training materials
Design, implement, and monitor youth-led and inclusive social accountability systems and platforms

Job Title2: Policy and Advocacy Advisor

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education Advanced degree in health fields, Social Science, communication with training and/or experience related to Policy and Advocacy.
More than 7 years of demonstrated technical and programmatic experience on policy and advocacy.
Proven experience on strategy, protocols, manuals and training materials development.
Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Ethiopian Primary Health Care system including the Community Health Program in Agrarian and pastoralist contexts
Demonstrated experiences on capacity development of NSAs/CSOs
Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and writing skills
Able to promote team work and effort.

Responsibilities
Oversee the design, development, implementation and monitoring of ECA’s policy and advocacy strategy and plan
Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of ECA’s advocacy implementation guide/protocol, tools and training materials. priorities, interventions, and activities
Coordinate with ECA’s technical leads in the design, mainstreaming, and execution of different policy influencing initiatives and advocacy plans across all Intermediate Result areas
Lead NSAs/CSOs advocacy capacity assessment, identify and prioritize critical advocacy gaps, develop and implement a tailored advocacy capacity development plan
Enhance advocacy capacity of NSAs and CSOs for accountability, transparency, and responsiveness of the health system based on capacity review outcomes

Job Title3: Project Assistant – Jinka

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education A minimum of BA Degree in Social Science preferably business administration.
Minimum of two years of experience in related fields and experience in NGO work will be an advantage.
Must have strong writing and communication skills both the regional working language and English.
Must have previous experience of coordinating logistics
Skills and experience in computer applications and utilization of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is mandatory.
Must have a working knowledge of modern office equipment and should be able to work with minimum supervision and have strong interpersonal skills and skills to promote teamwork.
Must demonstrate strong interest and commitment to family planning and maternal and child health services and the eradication of harmful traditional practices.
Work place: Jinka, SNNPR

Responsibility
Assist in the preparation of project work plans.
Assist in the preparation of project publications; follow up printing and distribution of project publications.
Assist in the documentation of project publications (both electronic and printed) and ensure that copies of these documents are sent to the central office.
Assist with organizing trainings/workshops ensuring venues are appropriate and booked, and ensuring lodging for participants and facilitators.
Maintain and update the database of trainings/workshops, and participants sponsored by the Project, and report as required
Ensure the proper maintenance and operational efficiency of office machines.
Maintain a comprehensive fixed assets register for the Regional Office, including essential details and identification numbers.
Address requests from staff to maintain and service office equipment and furniture promptly.
