Job Title1 : Grant Accountant

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education BA Degree in accounting, Accounting and finance or related field;
A minimum of 5 years working experience in grant financial management.
Work place: Addis Ababa

Ensure that payment of taxes and other government obligations are completed on time;
Maintain formats and other necessarily documents and reports in relation to assignments;
Ensure day to day accounting activities in respect of policies and procedures, state financial legal requirements and donor/organization guidelines;
Responsible for cash movements, journal entries and for daily cash reconciliations;
Responsible for voucher system and its management in accordance to the internal procedures;
Preparation of the monthly cash analysis;
Maintain contacts with local banks, assist in bank account reconciliations;
Categorize payments clearly and precisely under the appropriate expenditure codes of respective projects;
Provide ledgers and other relevant financial documents to the project documentation;
Ensure that purchase related expenses are supported with all the necessary financial documents as per procurement procedures;
Check the quality of invoices and payment documents after payments are made according to the procurement procedures;
Prepare vouchers, cheques, CPOs, transfer letters;

Job Title2: Livelihood and Business Development officer

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education BSc/BA/MA/MSC degree in economics, agricultural economics, agricultural business development.
Minimum 4 years’ for BA/BSC and 2 years for MA/MSC professional experience working in agricultural, business, and livelihood with refugees and host communities.

He/she plans, organizes, coordinates and monitors the activities in the program office and coordinates this with the other related officers in the camps and hosting communities;
Facilitates and closely works on provision of all necessary inputs for the agriculture, value chain and livelihood activities;
Conducts assessment of agriculture and livelihood, and market development related programs;
Working with camp level UN, gov’t and other officials to ensure smooth implementation of projects and selection process of the beneficiaries.
Facilitate livelihood related training activities with agriculture and other bureau experts/ training providers as needed.
Provide quality & timely reports, life stories and lesson learnt with proper documentation.
Prepares activity plans and budgets

Job Title3: Project Field Manager

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education BSC or MA degree in Economics, Development studies, and related fields from a recognized university or college.
5 years for BA/BSC or 2 years for MA/MSC with relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in project implementation and/or management of development projects.

Ensure efficient, effective, quality and timely implementation of the entire project.
Lead, manage and coordinate day-to-day planning, implementation and management of project activities according to the project document, project budget and project log frame;
Ensure effective integration of core technical areas –gender, enterprise development, agriculture, natural resource management and peace building;
Provide technical input for the implementation of the project including in the preparation of training materials, guides and manuals;
Prepare standard progress reports (monthly, quarterly and annual), annual work plans and budgets for consideration for HO.
Ensure effective coordination of planned project activities and implementing partners towards the timely attainment of the project outcomes and objectives;
Ensure project compliance with all legal and donor requirements

Job Title4: Project Field Engineer (Shelter Office)

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education echnical and/or engineering higher qualification (Civil engineer, construction management and engineering and related field) with significant field experience is preferred.
3 years’ relevant working experience in refugee context.

The Shelter officer undertake regular field/site visits to ensure proper monitoring of the activities’ implementation in area of operation, 70 % of the working time.
Facilitate the shelter project, monitor and supervise the production on site and coordinate field assistants and production foremen at operation level.
Monitor and qualify shelter production, including daily reporting project documentation and feedback from production to management line.
Ensure regular and timely reporting of problems, potential delays or risks to project implementation to the relevant supervisor, and support in the development and execution of solutions and mitigating actions.
Plan, prepare and follow together with workforce and/or contractors the carry through Plans.
Conduct site field monitoring and supervision of ongoing shelter production.
Data collection and obtain detailed technical information.
Organization of community meetings when needed.
