Ethiopian Capital Market Authority wants to recruit employees in the following vacant Position

Job Title1 : Senior Security Registration & Reporting Officer

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education Bachelor Degree or above in Economics, Management, Accounting and Finance, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or a field related to the Job function from an Accredited or recognized learning institution.
Experience 4 years of experience preferably in receiving, reviewing, and processing applications and data, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, due diligence, documentation management, financial report preparation and risk assessment in financial institutions or other organizations engaging on such assignments.

Responsibilities
Oversee the registration process for securities offered in the capital markets, including stocks, bonds, and other financial instruments
Review security registration applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Ensure that securities being registered meet regulatory standards, disclosure obligations, and relevant legal frameworks
Maintain well-organized records of security registration applications, approvals, and supporting documentation
Interact with issuers and market participants to facilitate the security registration process, address inquiries, and provide updates
Prepare accurate and timely reports on registered securities, disclosures, and other relevant information for regulatory oversight
Collaborate with internal teams, legal advisors, issuers, and regulatory authorities to facilitate security registration and reporting
Ensure that issuers adhere to disclosure requirements, providing investors with accurate and transparent information

Job Title2: IT Officer

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education Bachelors Degree or above in Information Technology, Software Engineering, information science, Hardware Engineering or a field related to the Job function from an Accredited or recognized learning institution.
Experience 2 years of relevant experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide user support on IT infrastructure, hardware and application troubleshooting
Oversee the handling of incidents and service disruptions, ensuring prompt resolution; Lead efforts to identify root causes of recurring problems and implement long-term solutions
ensuring efficient response and resolution of user issues; Monitor ticket queues, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely and effective support
Continously identify opportunities to enhance IT services and processes; Collaborate with relevant teams to implement service improvement initiatives
Prepare and distribute service performance reports to management and stakeholders; Communicate service updates, outages, and improvements to users effectively
