Center for Digital Health and Implementation Science-UOG wants to recruit employees in the following vacant Position

Job Title1 : Logistics Assistant and Driver

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education Required minimum education: Grade 10 or 12 completion certificate
Required minimum experience: Possession of a valid driving license 5 years of driving experience
Experience working in remote areas will be an advantage.

Driving Drive safely and courteously to any location determined by center;
Conduct a regular preventative and routine check on the Vehicles, to make sure that all are well-functioning and up to the safety standards;
Keep vehicles and vehicle equipment and contents clean, safe and well maintained;
Ensure that staff members arrive to destination safely and on time
Ensure vehicles are ready to travel at any given notice, fuel led and equipped as required;
Logistics Collect quotations, tax invoices, and delivery notes from vendors;
Assist the Administrative Assistant in the procurement and collection of conference supplies for the various trainings, meetings and forums

Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize, with the aim of providing administrative support in an efficient manner to the center;
Ability to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team in an office environment

Job Title2: Project Coordinator

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education Master’s degree in project management, health informatics, public health, health service management, monitoring and evaluation, and related fields.
Experience At-least five (5) years of proven work experience and at least two years in similar position (projects working on Information Revolution, HIS, digital health, etc) responsible for project coordination
Experience in implementing Capacity-building and research projects in health fields.

Plan and supervise the project implementation regularly.
Prepare realistic and participatory detailed implementation plans that are adequately broken down into annual, quarterly, and monthly plans.
Analyze regular reports and produce a synthetic and analytical progress report to guide management decision-making.
Plan, organize, and coordinate capacity building trainings, mentorships, supervisions, workshops and conferences.
Collaborate and work with the Health System, technical, finance, and logistics teams to implement project activities smoothly.
Monitor and evaluate the overall project activities.
Regularly inform the Health System team, technical team, and finance and logistics team on the progresses of the activities.
Produce and support the development of regular financial and technical reports.
Document and archive all the technical and project documents.

Job Title3: Deputy Project Director

Required Qualification, Experience and skill
Education Minimum of master’s degree or equivalent professional experience required in Public Health, Epidemiology, monitoring & evaluation, health service management, or related field.
Experience A minimum of 6 years of proven work experience of leading and managing similar projects; significant experience working in the health system and health information system is highly desirable.
The applicant must have served as Capacity Building and Mentorship Program (CBMP) director or deputy director position at one of the six CBMP universities to ensure he or she will be able to help all the 6 universities in their respective regional activities.
Demonstrated strong management, coordination, teamwork and planning skills with proven ability to function effectively with the government, partners and other stakeholders

The deputy director will support the Project Director in providing strategic and technical leadership and direction, defining and implementing activities to achieve the greatest impact toward project goals and objectives; serve as acting director position in the Director’s absence.
Closely monitor the implementation of project activities against approved work plans and budgets and ensure timely completion of results and achievement of objectives.
Ensure project delivery meets all standard operational policies and procedures.
Oversee project management of the project in full compliance with funders’ regulations, terms, and conditions.

Oversee project management of multi-million-dollar project in full compliance with US Government regulations, terms, and conditions.
